First off, happy World Breastfeeding Week to the Mommies! You should get an award because it's seriously hard work and a major commitment.

Obviously I've had a love/hate relationship with breastfeeding, we're still working at it and have our good and bad days.

So last night I made this for my son - and I'm sharing it with all the breastfeeding mommas - as this is my mantra for when he's going wild and we're having a bad nursing day and we need some encouragement. :)

    You can do it!

When my little girl is being a wild child sometimes I just swaddle and shush her until she calms herself enough to be reasonable and then latching can be a bit easier.

@cannotwait: For sure! We have a "no nursing while biting" clause, he gets a "time out" for a few minutes while mommy recovers. :)

I like it! When Warren is being crazy boy I change to the football hold... also singing to him sometimes calms him a bit. Good luck!

These days cause he's so much bigger I'm ok giving him a break to explore a bit and then come back to nurse. (Sometimes he knows better than me and he just needs to work out a burp before drinking more) I don't do well when he's in the mood for 'sips' though. That's when I give him 3 more chances before we close up shop :)

To go with @camrie:s adorable poster I thought I'd share a link to this blog post.  I found it amusing and though some of you may as well.

As a little more breastfeeding inspiration, here's Sheery from Young House Love's post about BFing their daughter.

I really hope I'm able to BF.
