First, I’m not greedy, and I’m not having this wedding just to get gifts.
Now, I just received an email from Target that some of our items were discontinued so I logged on to see what I had to remove and noticed that only 2 gifts have been purchased. We’re a week out from the wedding. I really don’t mind that, but I guess I was assuming a couple more gifts would be bought. Think everyone else is just procrastinating?? I know I would!! haha!
So anyway.. did you creep on your registries?? Did you notice that people waited until last minute??

Ummm I’m actually ashamed at myself for how much I creep. I had no clue I was this gift psyched!

I creeped but I think it’s important to do so. I had friends who didn’t and about a month out from the wedding, 1/3 of the stuff they wanted were discontinued. I felt bad because they had partial sets of things fulfilled (e.g. 2 out of 8 place settings, or a teapot without the matching creamer/sugar bowl). I had several things get discontinued on my registry and we waited until 3 months out to register!
I noticed people waited until the month of and we had a handful wait until the week of.

As shameful as it is, I have no doubt that I will be a-creepin’. It probably has to do with my obsession with checklists.

@lambjo: I creep, but only so much. I check out how many things have been bought out of the number I registered for. I refuse to look at what was actually purchased because I want some things to be a surprise because I know I am not getting everything.

I’m guilty of registry creeping. As I get closer to the date of my wedding, I think it’s important to check to make sure items haven’t been completely bought out or discontinued. I used to do it daily, but now I’m down to once or twice a week.
