I’m waiting. SO has brought up marriage, in fact early in our relationship. He asked if he should just propose then or if he should wait. I told him to wait, we should wait until we’re at least living together for a while before he does that. Well, we were together for a while, I’ve moved in and we’ve lived together for a while. So, the waiting begins. I honestly don’t even mind waiting a while longer, I want to marry him of course but there’s no rush. We have forever and we never want kids so there’s no hurry. But being the practical person I am, I figured I might as well spend some time on a wedding forum, looking through ideas and such, so that when the times comes, I’ll have specifics of what I want so I won’t be overly stressed out about things or overwhelmed; and I’ll now approx how much things cost and won’t get scammed, etc. Is that nerdy? lol

February 15th, shades of pink (raspberry, bubblegum), white, and gold glitter. It’s probably going to be hideous and look like a tacky prom but I’m past the point of caring.

We are getting married in May and our colors are royal blue, burnt orange, peach, and cream. I plan on getting fake flowers and thats where the oranges will come in. Royal blue on my FI. My MOH dress is a light blue. So some might say that we will have too much going on. I don’t care. I will keep the flowers simple, maybe even all the same color. I don’t know. I will have to see what looks best with MOH dress, my wedding dress which is cream lace with a tan underneath, royal blue on FI, etc. I am open to using different shades of orange too. I am with you, pp, I don’t care what anyone thinks!!!

  • Wedding: October 2016

Our wedding is October 17 and the colors are pink, peach, ivory and sky blue.  We are getting married in a victorian home and it will be decorated with Angel Blush hydrangeas that I will have cut from my mother’s garden. Angel blush hydrangeas start out white then as they age they turn pink then finally a deep burgundy.  I will cut and dry most of them before they reach burgundy.  My future husband will wear a light grey suit and there will be not attendants since this is a second wedding for us both and we want to keep it simple.

Navy is the main color which I know is super popular right now but I dont care.  Flowers will be a mix of bright oranges, pinks, yellows, and reds.
