Ooh, I'm bumping this, since I have a headband and need styling ideas too!
I'm wearing a headband and I'm doing my hair half up with big curls. I would post a pic if I could find one... alas. Its just in my head. HA!
i like them with hair up! i'm not wearing a headband, but one of my bridesmaids probably is. i'm not telling them what they have to do.... but if she asks for suggestions, i'll tell her up!
I am doing a chignon hair style. I am not doing the perfect bun, but one like this.

Then maybe the front like this with my headband.....not sure yet about the front.
But I could also do the front like this, but I wasn't sure how it would look with the headband....
So what do you girls think?
I'm not planning on wearing a headband, but I saw this pic in another thread an thought it was gorgeous. (Hopefully it works, this is my first time posting a pic.)
That Blake Lively hair is gorgeous, I wish my bun could be that big but my hair is soooo flat. Also, check out her cuff.. Amazing.
She wears clip on extensions for a lot of the longer styles. I love her hair though! I want to wear a headband but I am not sure what kind yet- my dress has flowers on it so I thought of wearing one with flowers but then I like the grecian style ones. I'd love to see pictures if anyone is wearing a headband too!
I am wearing a headband! I have big thick bangs ala Zooey Deschanel so I'm using her as my inspiration.
Right now I'm thinking of wearing it down...
I used that Blake Lively pic as my inspiration as well, but actually had gold colored ribbon pinned in my hair instead of a headband. Unfortunately, it wasn't as volumptuous as I wanted. .. :P
Im considering a headband because my hair is cropped and it's kind of hard to find a clip that will stay securely for a fascinator!

I'm doing a headband as well! At least i'm planning on it. I'm going to have a side part and hopefully a loose bunish thing in the back. Maybe curls pulled back (my hair is naturally curly). It's going to be all up.
@Kirabee- I don't remember off the top of my head. If you PM me, I'll do some research when I have a minute. Right now I'm supposed to be studying for a final...yeah. I'm a bad bee ;)

I'm planning on wearing my hair up with a headband, but I'm having the hardest time finding a headband that I like. Everything has such huge details.
This is what I'm doing! Was going to do a headband, and bought one, but fell in love with this fascinator instead and thought both would be too much. (pic is from my hair trial)

I just had my hair and make up trial yesterday!
I'm going to have my hair down and curly with a headband and veil. (That's not my veil, that's just a sample they had. Mine is super sheer and cathedral length) She'll hide the sides/ends of the ribbon headband better the day of. She was just playing around with it and didn't want to mess the ribbon up too much.
For the reception, she's going to pull it up off my neck so I don't get all sweaty and overheated for dancing. Again, the ribbon will be neater and more hidden on the sides.

@eryepye - Love your hair - how long is it? Is it all back in the front or do you have bangs or some volume at the front?
I am in the process of growing out my bangs - I have 5 months so I hope to get them long enough to do something with them - they tend to do what they want and I don't want pictures ruined by strange parts throughout the day.
I don't look good in headbands, but if I did I'd wear this

@pammyd: Thank you! It has a lot of volume at the crown, sideswept, long bangs and the total length is about to the middle of my back. That hair style can be done with shorter hair though :)

@mrscingle: That last picture is GORGEOUS! I envy the ladies with that thick, beautiful dark hair! The white headband looks awesome against the dark hair!
I know me too! I have blonde hair so it won't pop like that but I still love the thick waves!
I saw a bunch of tiny headbands in a wedding magazine once and fell in love! Then I saw this on a website and it's EXACTLY what I want! Yes, I even bought the headband :) My hair will be a little less messy, but still romantic and loose! LOVE!!!
I found this on one etsy - which I love - I love headbands in general - but sometimes they give me headaches because of where they sit.
