We are staying at Secrets Maroma this Nov for our honeymoon!
When we booked our trip through our travel agent, she booked our transporation to and from. We had a choice of private or public shuttle. I think it was about $100 all together (we chose public, but are now rethinking that! I might see if we can switch) She said it can be sketchy trying to find transporation when you are there.

I don't know how Secrets works, but the Palace resorts have free transportation to and from the airport. We thought that we'd have to get a taxi but when we got our confirmation they said to call them a few days ahead to tell them what time our flight was getting in and they would send a car to pick us up.
Your shuttle should be included. Have you spoken with your travel agent?

We stayed at Secrets Capri in Playa Del Carmen (Awesome resort - by the way)! We booked through Apple vacations, and they provide complimentary shuttle service to and from the hotel. We payed a little bit extra, and received private car service (also provided by Apple). That way, we went right to our resort, rather than stopping at other resorts with everyone else who flew in for an Apple vaca that day.
Oops a little late. When I booked my trip through cheapcarribean.com for my trip to Secrets Silversands. I did pay a shuttle service to and from the airport. It was one of the add ons when I bought my package. (It was about $43 each way) I considered looking for cheaper shuttles or possibly use a taxi but i decided against it because I wanted to book with a reliable shuttle company. Last thing I wanted was to be stuck at the airport waiting for my ride... or get into a taxi cab where the guy tries to rip me off because I'm a foreigner.

I can't find an answer anywhere! I even tried calling the 1800 number on their website and it turns out they are idiots. Anyway did you book your transportation to and from the airport in advance? Does the hotel offer complimentary shuttle services? If we don't book anything, is it easy to find transportation at the airport? I know this isn't a travel site lol but I know I have seen a few bee's that have gone or will be going to Cancun so I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask!
