I know a lot of us look forward to reach certain Bee levels.
I told FI I was hoping to reach the Buzzing Bee status anytime now and he asked me (genuinly curious) why was it important?
I'm curious Bees, why is it exciting to you?
I'm looking forward to being a Honey Bee, because that's DH's pet name for me.
Since I am soooo close to being "maxed out" of levels, I am stoked about reaching HoneyBeekeeper. I am secretly (or not so much not that I have posted it) hoping they will come up with a few new ones so we can keep acheiving, LOL.
I like it when my colour of green gets darker. You know, because that way more people will listen to what I'm saying (lol). :P

I like my posts getting darker, also it makes me feel like a veteran.
@Mrs Sarah McK: I wanted to reach Bumble bee so bad, cause FI works with bumble bees. I'm secretly sad I'll leave it behind but I want darker posts!
haha..i didn't even notice that your post gets darker as you reach different levels.
I really don't know why I like it I just know it makes me happy when I do! Lol!
I never noticed about the color being darker! Now I want that darker green! Lol I just like having goals :)
So just reached Buzzing Bee level.. no big deal. *Makes Happy dance*
I'm not sure why....if feels like an accomplishment. Like wow, I've been here a while and have learned so much...it's quite an achievement to move up in the ranks...I guess it's silly....but it's still a BIG deal :D
I'm about 500 posts from being a Busy Beekeeper! lol. I'm obviously on this site way too much.
I too, am hoping for more Bee levels .... so when my family asks what my future aspirations are , I have something to say!

I definitely love the colour change. It makes things easier to see on my shoddy laptop screen!!!

I don't look forward to it because I have no idea what the levels are or what the order is. I know I saw a list one time, but I can't say it's stuck with me.
I agree with Juliepants about the color of your posts getting darker. I like that a lot! Like when I went from white to beige posts I was super stoked! Haha. I like moving up bee levels because it makes me feel like more of a member of the bee community or the bee family. And who doesn't love to have cute little bee names??
I have no explanation for why I get so excited, I just do! It feels like an accomplishment. I may or may not be jealous of those of with thousands of posts! Lol

@zippylef: From my understanding of levels I should already be at Honey Beekeeper. But it doesn't say so under my avatar.

I think I actually only noticed when I hit 1,000 posts. After 5,000 it seems that your level doesn't change? I don't know haha! I'm a darker green now.
To be honest I'm not sure why it's important to me but it is. Perhaps because I'm a competative person and enjoy easy challenges. Also, it makes me feel like I know the site more and the people the higher my grading. Silly but true
Interesting, my screen shows them as white/beige/gold-ish!!! Maybe a green-ish gold-ish. That's funny.
I think I'm getting closer to my next level (3400 or 3500). My time has gone by fast on here... I can't believe I've been a member for 2 years.
I can't wait to get a darker color...plus it's a numerical account of how much time I've spent not working on my thesis!
What the hell hahaha I didn't even notice about the posts changing color. I did notice and tried to figure why some peoples were darker than others but couldn't come up with a good conclusion lol, that's awesome. I agree with the PP's it definitely it like a sense of pride or accomplishment lol. I'm on another forum (unrelated) but I'm maxed out there. I love it :) haha

Lol I noticed that some posts had colours and some didn't. I always wondered why...and now I know!!

Haha! My thoughts exactly! The higher levels make me feel more legit, like people think "Oh she knows what she's talking about she has 2,000+ posts." Haha. I'm sure NO ONE thinks that, but in my head, they do.
I never noticed the color! That's hilarious. I don't know why I get exciting about moving up. It's just fun. :)
I'm just excited to get back to where I was with my other username. Almost there.
