I love watching frosty the snow man, rudoloh the red nosed reindeer and all of the other little kid christmas movies.
And I love christmas baking! Cookies and cakes Pies and Mufffins. (I gain way too much weight durring the holidays lol)
OH and Egg Nog! I love christmas time because that means I get Egg Nog!
I like making goody bags! Choco dipped pretzels sticks and cookies! This year I'm going to make a pistachio and cranberry dark chocolate bark that I have been hearing about!
The Christmas Shoes and The Christmas Box are my favorite movies/books. I usually take a week off in the middle of the month and take 2-3 days and do nothing but bake goodie baskets for everyone. Cookies, breads, bark etc. I love doing it and since I've been a nurse in a nursing home that last 4 years I make little bags of goodies and take them in to my residents on a night off. It's so much fun seeing them light up!
We have the Snowman over here, it's a short animated film based on Raymond Briggs book, but it's on every Christmas..
I just have to watch White Christmas and Holiday Inn on Christmas Eve while I wrap presents all by myself. I send everyone to bed, make myself a hot chocolate and Godiva liqour, settle in and wrap away while singing along with the shows (and now even the dialogue I know by heart). Oh, and I usually eat a whole box of brownies too, oops. I have been doing this since I started wrapping all my parents gifts for them when I was a teen. It is like my gift to me at the end of a stressful holiday season. If the movies run out before the wrapping is done, I move on to Meet Me in St. Louis, Shop Around the Corner (the original youve got mail), or I Remember Mama.
For me, no Christmas would be the same without listening to Bing Crosby, Berle Ives, and Amy Grant singing carols in the background for most of the month. Ok, sometimes you gotta throw in the Chipmunks just for fun :)
love actually is one of my favorite movies, period. DH proposed to me mocking a scene from the movie - and it was no one near Christmas!
Every year my family and my cousins and aunts and uncles go out to the country, like a 2 hour drive, and go out to breakfast. then we go to this tree farm and cut down our tree. It's a blast! We're going tomorrow!
Have to 100% agre with @mink, Elf and Love, Actually are the two Christmas movies I must watch over and over on the days leading up to Christmas! I already saw Elf twice this year so far, so I think Love Actually is in the cards for today while FI is at work :)
