I know mine is silly because well..I can’t control it. My pet peeve at work is other coworkers desks being dirty. The office managers desk is dirty really bad and I hate when I have to go to her desk to do something.
I just want to clean everything!!! haha
What are you pet peeves at work?

I agree with other people being dirty but I just try to avoid their office.
I hate it when people come into my office and use my stuff, especially if they don’t put it back where they found it.

When grown adults are in their cubes whispering. For fucks sake go in the conference room & shut the door at least. Or text your gossip like normal damn people!

People standing by my desk to talk to a coworker about non-work related things for extenned periods of time…People who talk very loudly when I am on the phone with clients. Or the ones that whistle or make fart/ poop jokes ALL DAMN DAY

We have to wear walkie talkies with war pieces at my work, and it is really irritating when people have pointless/long conversations over them. I just pull the ear piece out ASAP.

I hate when coworkers take LOTS of personal phone calls. The occasional call from a husband is fine, but one takes at least 4 personal calls a day, many of which last over 5 mins. I work in an open area with this woman and it drives me nuts to hear her on these phone calls.

….my co-workers…oh…AND my clients

I hate when I just walk into the office and I already have people waiting for me. I get that you have something to tell me (though usually they don’t), but can it at least wait until I’ve put my stuff down and checked my email?
Fridge thieves – if you didn’t bring it, don’t eat it!
Gossiping at work (well, I hate gossip in general)
Being constantly solicited for money/attending social events
Our new “open concept” work environment that is supposed to foster collaboration or something. All it does it ensure I can hear other people talking all.day.long.
Inapproporiate office flirtation

People walking up to my desk and launching into a converstion without saying ‘do you have a sec’

When people walk around talking about how much they have to do and how they are going to have to stay late (we get paid overtime. I’ve noticed that they spend more time walking around complaining than actually working.
And when someone doesn’t wait until my computer is even on before firing questions at be.

General laziness. When I’m overworked and running behind schedule and other people refuse to step in because they’re too involved in their Candy Crush games. It makes our department look bad. Also sloppiness.

@deetroitwhat: haha! Laughed out loud at this!

@figgnewton: I have a candy bowl on my desk. I had one former coworker who would take HANDFULS every sinlge day. Do you ever contribute to replacing it, yo?? Then how about one or two pieces at a time! Argh! #firstworldproblems

We offer free, no-obligation consultations so that potential clients can have all of their questions about laser procedures answered by the laser tech/owner. It drives me crazy when people try to get me to give them a consultation over the phone, especially when it’s regarding tattoo removal. I might lose my mind next time.
