I’ll start. 🙂
I had always dated guys who were significantly taller than me so I had a bit of a bias in my head that all guys were tall. On our first date my guy was waiting outside the restaurant and I recognized his face from his dating profile but I immediately thought “he’s kinda short.” Which is silly. He’s 5’10 and I’m 5’4.
What was your 1st thought upon seeing your SO for the 1st time?

wow he’s cute. and tall.
that would be after my brain started working again. I’m pretty sure I stood there and drooled for the first few minutes after I saw him.

“Wow that is the hottest guy Ive ever seen” literally that was my thought and I remember exactly where it was and I totally pursued him from that point….. first move….yeah, that was all me…. haha

I don’t remember the first thought, but I remember thinking that he was really, really quiet. He’s not, he was just afraid to talk to me. Haha

I remember thinking he had a great smile and that the flowers in his hand were a nice touch :).

@LauraRose: 1st move was me too. I’m not gonna say it was on our 1st date and I’m not going to say it wasn’t. 😉 Turns out I had the hots for the “short” dude.

My first thought was “he’s bald” haha

I thought he had the most beautiful voice! It sounded so familiar to me, even though we’d never met before.
And when I turned to look at who was talking to me, I saw he had an equally beautiful face and body to go with the beautiful voice and laugh.
I had a gut feeling right that second that meeting him was the purpose in my being there in that time and place that night. And I was right.

“I hope this doesn’t suck!”
We met online and after almost a year of mediocre dates my expectations weren’t that high

haha this is a funny one.
I thought Fiance was super attractive but too nice (as in all he wanted was a “piece” of me :D). I was engaged and in an abusive realtionship when we met, so I couldn’t understand why he was always calm and WANTED, much less tollerated, to eat dinner with me at 11pm when classes were done..

my first thought? “Hey, i just met you…and this is crazy…but here’s my number…”
i was also impressed by his hair.

Honestly, it felt like time had stopped. Our eyes met and everything froze, like in Big Fish 🙂 That’s the first time I remember seeing him. But according to him I said hi to him and he didn’t say anything back, and he thought to himself, “That girl just said hi to you like she knew you and you didn’t say anything back…good job.” The next day he say next to me to try and reignite the conversation. I found that very cute!

wow he can actually write and spell!!!! (his first contact email)
we met online and I had about given up on guys that were able to string more than a few words together!! turns out he was an author!! 🙂

pretty sure it was either “nice car…” or “nice beanie…”

Lol, this is fun.
I’d heard about Mr TTR from a mutual friend… in that he was going to play host for a Wine & Food adventure I had signed up for at her encouragement.
BUT I had never met him.
When I first saw him, I thought he was handsome (full head of thick hair, nice eyes)… even though he likes to tell me he is an “ugly bugger” (who knew guys could have issues with how they look)
But honestly, what sold me over pretty much IMMEDIATELY was the fact that I could quickly see he was a caring guy… with a KIND HEART, who was considerate of his friends (in that he brought several of them gifts back from his all-guys road-trip vacation). I thought that to be a unique feature in a man… considering that there wasn’t “a woman” involved to initiate the thought /purchase (lol, I only found out that part later on… that he was single)
