For me, it was The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

That was the strangest movie I have ever seen. I think my mouth dropped at least 20 times throughout the movie. lol

The Usual Suspects.  It completely drew me in and I did not see the ending coming.

Either My Winnipeg by Guy Maddin or Un Chien Andalou by Dali. My Winnipeg kept repeating crotch shots and shots of a buffalo for no reason. Un Chien Andalou has the eye cutting scene... enough said.

For the record, I love Rocky Horror! It doesn't seem all that strange to me, but maybe I'm just used to it.

Lol I was expecting you to say Human Centipede or something. Rocky Horror doesn't seem that weird to me...

    Labyrinth freaks me out

The first couple Saw movies were gross, as was Human Centipede (dear god) and the Hostels. But those were just gorey gross-out movies.

The craziest movie I've ever seen?  I guess it'd be Being John Malkovich (which I liked), Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (which I loved), or Donnie Darko (which is awesome).

Apparently I like the weird.  :)

@Lemma:  Yeah I never hear of the Rocky Horror Picture show before until last year when my coworker says that I HAVE TO see it. Went over to her house. Wow crazy movie. lol

@LGenz:  I wont go NEAR movies like the Human Centipede. Those are beyond sick movies and should never have been made. Creepy!

I also just saw the movie Rubber

which is about a rubber tire rolling through the desert that kills people with its mind.

..for realz! its an independent film, but not low budget so it's actually really funny/crazy

The craziest I've seen is Teenage Cat Girls In Heat. It has a lot of 'wtf?" moments. Its about a group of girls who believe they are cats in heat and are possesed by a statue of a cat. It looks like it cost about $100 to make too.

We recently watched the remake of Straw Dogs, with Kate Bosworth, James Marsden, and Alexander Skaarsgard (be still my heart.)

It was a super uncomfortable movie.

@fiver:  I was thinking of the same movie!  My husband and I watched it one night, and I just kept saying, "How much longer is this thing?"  Rubber was such a weird movie to me.

Also Repo: The Genetic Opera was a weird one.  The basic premise is that, in the future, organ transplants can be "repo-ed" from human beings who don't/can't pay for them.  And it's a pop opera, so there's a lot of singing.  ETA:  And it's pretty gorey.

This probably doesn't seem as out there as some of the others but the movie Splice left me just dying. It was so odd.

For anybody interested, here is Un Chien Andalou. This movie is considered so good that I was forced to watch it for my film class.

Also, I thought up another one. It's called Hausu and it's a very influential Japanese horror film. I haven't seen all of it, but from this clip, I've seen enough to know that it's completely bonkers.

Joe's Appartment. Not only the craziest, but the most stupid as well. Oh, and Teeth was actually even crazier than the first one I mentioned. If anyone else has seen teeth, please let me know I'm not alone.

@Running Elley:  You aren't the first person I've heard this from! I've heard a few of my friends say they actually didn't know how to feel after watching it.

@Earlybride:  Ha ha that is really funny because I was just watching it last week from beginning to end with my FI and I probably said about ten times "this movie is crazy."

@delirium.megans:  Yes, yes! I had to watch it in college and I still don't understand the point. "Hello Dave" still sticks with me.

Crazy in a "I never want to see that again" way: Full Metal Jacket

The creepy AP History teacher at my [all girls, Catholic] high school showed it to us in 10th grade.  I was so disturbed at the end of the first half that I told my mother.  My mother hadn't seen the movie, but I told her what I saw and she was horrified.

For once, having an assertive mother paid off.  She told the principal, a nun.  Sister Ellen shut that down.  I'm so thankful.

Crazy in a "wow, that was beautiful" way: Labyrinth.

@totheislnds:  @.twist.:  I'm glad it wasn't just me. I was thinking maybe I just wasn't very with it and other people would think it was a fantastic film lol. I was just so disturbed. We watched it at my MILs house with her, her husband and my 15 year old BIL and it was the most awkward experience ever. I had to close my eyes at some points because I just could not take it!

Hobo with a Shotgun, hands down. I made it about 20 minutes in before I couldn't take it anymore.

ETA: And typically I love a good gorefest or mindf***.
