Absolutely not. I think those shows are so fake. Even if I didn’t think that, I wouldn’t want to be in competition with 10 (or however many) other girls who were also dating my “boyfriend” and be forced to try to “win” him away from them.

Big old nope. Aside from my thoughts on these types of shows being faked, elitist and sexist, the biggest turn off for me is using people’s emotions as a form of entertainment. It is just gross.

Also these shows reinforce very bad stereotypes.

Those shows do a lot of frankensteining of clips to make people appear more interesting (but also more awful) than they are. Destroying my reputation over things I didn’t even do seems unwise.

No. I honestly don’t understand anyone who goes on those shows. They are fake, sexist and embarrassing.

No. I would never compete for a man.

No way.  None of those girls are in it for love. They all want to be famous or social influencers

ladycomfypants :  I worked with someone who was asked to be the bachelor on the bachelor a few years ago. He was an absolute cad and thought he was gods gift to women. He said no but if he is a reflection on the calibre of guy they seek out…then I’d never want any part of it. I don’t compete for a guy and especially that type of guy.

Have to lol at the thought though…All the people on the show are extremely handsome or beautiful. They’d never ask me unless they started going in a different direction and renamed the show the average bachelor/bachelorette!! 😂

Fine I’ll say it: sure! You get to travel the world, do fun activies, and go on lavish free dates. I’d probably get some heat once it was apparent I was a bit too casual about the whole thing, but oh well. Overall I think it’d be a fun experience as long as you don’t get too invested.

Eek, okay, maybe that makes me a bad person/contestant. I’ll just be the villain of the season then.

Definitely not, let’s not talk about it being reality TV,  but I’m not going to compete for any man.  In fact,  when I met Fi,  we were talking and another girl came over and took over the conversation and boxed me out.  I was like, ‘um bye’ and moved on to to flirting with a different guy.   Obviously,  we did start dating eventually,  but I have no interest in completing for the attention of any man.

“Ain’t nobody got time for that. “

No. He wouldn’t be my type and I wouldn’t be his (no matter who he was).

I would! I think it’d be an interesting experience.

No, like other posters have said, I have no desire to compete with 20+ other women for a man’s attention. The thought of being forever immortalized on national TV doesn’t sound very appealing to me, either lol.

They encourage the female contestants to drink constantly, in an attempt to loosen inhibitions and increase the drama and sexual tension. That’s gross. I’m amazed that women still watch this show.

It would literally be my worst nightmare. Being stuck in a ridiculously over the top mansion with no independence and having 20+ women at close quarters who are all competing for some not-even-worth-it man….maybe for a guaranteed 7-digit payout but otherwise it would be a fast no.

OK, maybe for 6 digits I’d do a week or two, but I’d really agonize over that decision.

While yes some get to travel, they don’t travel in the way that I would like and would have zero free time to actually go out and experience the areas they’re traveling to. So, cash money or I’m not interested!
