i've had a bit of a problem with mine - but they worked.
I used a glue stick for the paper that i printed off on the front and back of the fan - and the brown cardstock (2 pieces) were glued together with a heavier "SoBo" glue - but you don't want to use a TON because it does warp a little...
my husband drilled all the holes in the sticks for me.
1 thing I should have noted - make sure to use a really good heavy glue stick (i like the one that goes on "blue" but dries clear)...I ran out and ended up using cheap glue sticks that I had - and I think that was the small issue i had with a few of the fans not turning out right - the ones that used the other glue stick (goes on blue...) were great!
I used a trial with 3M spray mount adhesive and that seemed strong enough. I haven't printed my programs yet because I'm still finalizing the ceremony, but hopefully it'll be soon.

What adhesive did you use to glue them together and to get the stick to stay in place? I was thinking glue gun but not sure.
