Did you put your return address? We got ours through Vistaprint and the upper lefthand corner (where the return address would usually go) has our wedding information on it. Should we include a FROM: label above our regular TO: address label on the righthand side? If you included a return address, where did you put it?

When i ordered in my STD’s from Vistaprint, i had them print my address only in the top left hand corner. Additional information was below that.

I had them print our return address on them, I also ordered from vista print. I don’t think its really that big of a deal either way.

@peanuthead: We have 200 of them, and we forgot to do that! We were going to print address labels, but of course we dont want to cover any of the preprinted text. I’m not sure if we want to cram two labels one on top of the other on the righthand side or not…

I didn’t put any return address label on ours… 🙂 Also from Vistaprint, and didn’t think to have them print it – No biggie, I don’t think!

Sorry for being a bit dumb, but why would you need a return address on your STDs? Wouldn’t it confuse some guests into thinking it’s an invitation and they need to RSVP (maybe more elderly guests or those who are unused to this recent wedding tradition)? I was planning to purposefully not have a return address on ours…

@RainStorm: return addresses are for in case the mailing address was wrong. Then they ‘return to sender’. But if there is no return address then it couldn’t get back to you.
and, yes, we had our return address on ours.

also, by the way, I have found that most of the time when I write something wrong on an address, the post office does figure out where it is supposed to go: it just takes longer.
