For those of you with a moissanite, where did you order your ring/stone?

buzzingbridex:  Congratulations on your engagement! My FI and I bought my ring from MoissaniteCo and I feel like we made a great decision in regards to my taste and his wallet. I’ll post a couple pictures below of my ring. It was semi-custom, replacing the Forever Brilliant moissanite with a radiant cut canary moissanite.

If you’re looking to have a custom ring made, try David Klass or Joseph Schubach’s, they are amazing! You can contact MoissaniteCo and talk to them about creating a custom ring as well if you don’t see any settings that you like. If you decide to go the custom route, ask a couple of places you’re interested in to get the best price!

What cuts and styles do you like? I’d be happy to point out some rings to you for inspiration 🙂

Here is my 1.85 carat (8x6mm) radiant canary moissanite set in an elongated cushion halo with filigree and scroll work. I love the vintage touches. 🙂

We custom designed my setting at a local jeweler and they got the moissy for us.

We just ordered my center stone about two weeks ago from MoissyCo. It’s a 7.5 mm FB OEC and I ADORE it. Customer service was great, shipping was fast and free, the price was right, and the stone is gorgeous.

I’ve posted this on another thread also but I hope this helps.

We ordered both my engagement ring and my wedding band from moissanite.com. Overall the customer service was okay but the rings are beautiful! I will say to expect about 21 days before your order is shipped because the website always says 10 days on the order page, but the confirmation emails always states 15-20 business days. Not a big deal unless you’re like me and order your wedding band 2 weeks before your wedding! Their return policy is okay but if you get even the slightest scratch on the ring from trying it on for an hour to see if you like it, don’t expect them to take it back. Other than that, you have 30 days. Also another thing I should probably mention is if you fall in love with a set and only order the engagement ring at the time, they will not, under any circumstances, allow you to go back and purchase the matching wedding band because the matching bands are never sold seperately. Their rings are beautiful and I would order from them again, but I wish I knew these things first.

peacock0320:  Sure thing. I meant to attach pictures of the loose stone last night, but for whatever reason, they don’t want to seem to load from that computer, so we’ll give it another go from work!

buzzingbridex:  We custom made my engagement ring at our local jeweler. When I told him I was going to order a stone from moissaniteco.com he said there was no need because he could order them in! We went that route as I’d rather give my business to my local family jeweler. I am extremely happy with my ring- they did a great job, and the moissanite is beautiful! Sorry the pic isn’t that great- I have crappy lighting at my desk.

Those pics were taken in my car on a sunny day. I kept snapping them because the smallest shift of my hand added a different color.

MoissyCo was great. After I submitted the order using their standard/free shipping, I live-chatted with customer service because I wanted to see if I needed to upgrade shipping in order to get the stone in by that Friday. Customer service rep checked it out and said it would be there. The stone arrived on Thursday, and we ordered it Sunday night.

buzzingbridex:  I got mine from MoissaniteCo and I love it! My fiance said they were easy to deal with as well and there was quick shipping to Canada! Good Luck 🙂 Happy that there is another bride going the moissanite way 😉 One day we will take over the world! Haha

I ordered my OEC moissanite (amora-ized) from MoissaniteCo, I ordered my ring from Poppyseed (Laurie), and sent both to Amcor to be set.  She has an independent side and works for Amcor as well, they have access to gorgeous moissanite stones and I have several friends who have ordered from there and never been disappointed, so my future purchases will be from her! You can contact her by e-mail, fabujewelry – at- … gmail.com They have access to all the jewelry casting houses, so nearly any ring you see online they can either get or make for you. Their prices are very reasonable too, and the quality is great. 🙂 You can see my ring in my avatar picture.

My first moissanite ring was from moissaniteco. We didn’t have any problems except it took forever to come in the mail. My forever ring was ordered through a jeweler. Any personal jeweler that has Stuller setting also deals with loose moissanite stones. I order mine through Stuller settings with my jeweler. I had a good experience and love my rings! By the way mine is a 2.5ct forever brilliant. It’s super white.

buzzingbridex:  we got my ring from a local jeweler. But he ordered my stone directly from Charles & Colvard, which is moissanite.com online. My stone is amazing!!! My hubby just layawayed an anniversary ring for me, which he picked alone so I have no idea what it looks like, but he did tell me he went with moissanites!!
