Where did you keep your dog while you were taking pics without him/her? I would love my pooch to be in some, but she is a little min pin, very energetic, and she’s not just going to lay nicely while we’re out galavanting around the park taking pics! 🙁

We wandered back to the car and left him there for the second half of the photo shoot. Worked out well. Unfortunately, none of the shots with him in really turned out well – our photographer I think wasn’t very experienced at taking pictures of pets. But the few we had were worth it for sure.

We just put our boy in the car, it was hot out so we just kept the car running with the A/C blasting for him. He didn’t mind and actually took a nap for most of the time.

We brought my mom and a bag of carrots (pup’s favorite treat). She held onto her when she wasn’t posing.

I had two friends help with our e-pics, both photographer’s, but one held our dog while the other shot pics without him! It was a freezing October day and he would have been fine in the car, but we had the help and she didn’t mind holding him!

We kind of had to improvise and looped his leash around a pole 🙂 We kept him within close proximity (e.g. a few feet) to us so he wouldn’t freak out. He actually did pretty well!

I have a min pin, so I feel your pain 😀 We did pictures with ours as well, and we brought along my mom to hold onto her when she wasn’t in pictures. It worked out well, because she was definitely acting like a little maniac. My mom also held a bag that had a change of clothes for us, water for my dog, and a blanket for pictures.

@almostmrsj: We also had my mom tag along, she walked him around when we were done with pics of him.

We will probably put ours back in the car. He likes to nap in there.

Our engagement photos were taken in December, so we put him in the car for the second half of the shoot.

I would recommend having a friend or someone come along and watch the dog. Once he or she is done with their picture time, have your friend take them for a walk, treats, or they can return him/her to your house for you.

His mom came along to dog-wrangle. The dog adores Fiance, so it was a little hard to keep him away for the ones without him!

We wrapped his leash around a tree, and made sure we could keep an eye on him.

@AnneTossy: Awwwwww I would love to see your min pin e-pics!!
