We have been invited to three parties.  We will be party-hopping and would like to go to all three.  They are each about 15 minutes away from each other.  Two start at 8, one starts at 9.     How would you do this?  Do two before midnight and celebrate midnight at the third?  Or do midnight at the second and go to the third one after?

This actually happens a few times in our social circle. We usually pick one and stay there. We definetly wouldn't be driving all over the place on NYE. I feel rude commiting to 2 different people bc in the past when we have, we ended up having too much fun at the first place and not wanting to leave. I know it's not the most helpful, just how we handle these situations.

ugh we're splitting parties too... It stinks but we both want to be with our friends and haven't found another alternative.  The first party starts at 9 so we'll be there on the dot and then will leave with time to get to the second before midnight.  I have work at 9AM Sunday so I got roped into designated driving so at least that isn't an issues for us.

I would cut it down to two parties , one early then celebrate midnight and onward with the other... 3 sounds too ambitious and hard to enjoy
