We are using Google Docs to create a form. The responses get sent to a Google Spreadsheet that you can use to track.

It’s reasonably easy to set up the form to ask the standard questions like

    • Name
    • Attending or not?
    • How many?
    • etc

You can also separate questions into different pages so that if someone answers that they aren’t coming, they don’t have to go through the questions asking how many, if they need vegetarian meals, etc.

Then we used a URL shortener to create a new link because Google Docs links are crazy long.  I recommend tiny.cc because you can totally customize the letters that come afterward, for example ours is tiny.cc/hisnamehername

Then all we had to do was print “Please RSVP online at http // tiny.cc/hisnamehername” on the invites!
