Do you like it? How often to you do it? I tried it once and it wasn't as easy as I thought it was but I'm thinking about getting back into it.

I love yoga! It's so relaxing and makes me really loose and less sore after my harder impact workouts. I do it about once a week, usually Saturdays, and it's such a great "me" time.

I do it once a week in between my weight and spinning regimen.

I do it for the flexibility because I hate stretching but I like (a small amount of yoga) because it also works out your muscles and balance.

I love it!!! I stopped for a while because I was so busy, but I'm getting back into it. I had to take it as a college requirement (yea weird I know), but it was the best. I like doing it early in the morning and it really stretches you out.

I love yoga!!  I wasn't a fan in the beginning (only because I never tried it-so don't knock it until you try it!) but it truly is a great workout!!

I'm going once a week for a 90 minute power/relax class. It kicks my butt, and I'm newish to it, so I can't do everything everyone else does yet (but it isn't a competition). On the other hand, I don't think there is a time all week in which I feel better than the two or three hours after class. I feel calm and focused, and I usually feel stressed and frantic, so what a lovely change.

There are many different styles of yoga.  It you want something on the relaxing end, I'd try something labeled "hatha" or maybe iyengar (those can vary, but won't be very aerobic).  If you want something more butt-kicking, you can try anything labelled power, vinyasa, or ashtanga.  Or Bikram, if you don't mind a 90+ degree room.  Anusara is in the middle.  And there are other styles as well...

I LOVE yoga.  The classes kick my butt, but you feel so cleansed after the class is over!  I usually take a class 1-3 times/week, depending on what my schedule will allow.  My favorite is baptiste power vinayasa - its in a 95 degree room and is more of an athletic yoga.  My 2nd favorite is bikram yoga - usually a 90 minute class in a room 95-105 degrees.

i love yoga! i go about 3-6 times a week. i have been doing it about 3 years on and off. i have found that once you start going consistently, after about a month or so you feel like your day wasn't complete with it. also, it starts to energize you instead of leaving you exhausted.

i liked yoga too and i'm with you, when i first started i was all, "what? that's it? this is nothing!" only to get soundly kicked in the pants. tricky yoga. i don't do it anymore because i had to cut some extras once i started school and i refuse to do the yoga routine on p90x even though it does make me sweat. for some reason tony sucks the fun out of it.

I do Mommy Yoga once a week.  I guess for me the advantage is that it teaches better breathing and concentration.  I haven't seen a change in flexibility much.  But it's nice, kinda like meditating for an hour.

@ tea - I do the Yoga on P90X, but I agree it is not as enjoyable as other yoga classes. I find he transitions through the poses during the sun saluatations much too quickly. I still do it (boy does it make you sweat!), but I would suggest a yoga class, and not P90X yoga :)

I love yoga. At my gym, they have different yoga, but i prefer "core yoga" and go twice a week. It really helps with stretching, becoming stronger,  and has made me so much more flexible.

It also have been helping my abs :D Yay!

I used to do a relaxing yoga once a week to reduce stress. It concentrate on breathing and kind of tuning out with a little bit of stretching. It really helped me with my breathing during yoga and exercise. But, I haven't needed it so I stopped spending the extra money to go.

It was a little hard for me in the beginning because I'm pretty shy and the yoga people were all like a "big family."  but, after I started putting an effort in, I became part of the family. I guess, they probably see a lot of people one week and never again especially right after the new year...Our teacher has beginner and advance posers and will tell you how to do both so you are comfortable at your level and don't believe you have to do the advance and at any moment, you can go to child's pose if she's kicking your butt!
