I don’t get it… why does it say there is 0 precipitation, but then thunderstorms every day?

I have been there 5 times in October and the most I’ve seen is a few 15 min showers. Nothing major that affected any of my plans….I’m sure you will be fine : )

I was in Jamaica in October of 2009, not sure which town (wherever the cruise ships dock) and the weather was very, very hot still. It was sunny out, but the water was pretty chilly actually.

I went in late September (but not to Negril) and weather was warm and sunny with usually a thunderstorm in the evening or morning.  The water was warm.

We were there last September (late September, if I recall) & the weather was still really warm with the occasional late afternoon thundershowers that last about 15 minutes or so like a few others have posted.  They usually clear up in time for you to enjoy the famous Jamaican sunsets that you’ll view in Negril.  Have a wonderful trip!!
