I have a 32 day cycle - maybe a 33 day cycle - and believe I ovulate on day 18.  I'm curious how close that is to others with a 32 day cycle....

I am about the same as you! I have a 32 day cycle and I usually get a positive OPK on CD 16, and the ovulate on 17 or 18.

    The 3 cycles I kept track, I O'd on days 19, 22, and 18. My cycles are 31-33 days.

....ahhhh, FREAKING OUT HERE.  I am NOT TTC and had intercourse on day 21.  I was charting for the first time and thought I O'd on day 18 and figured I was 3 days away and was 'safe'.  I now know I should have waited at LEAST another day... and am hoping and praying I didn't just change our lives forever.... GAHHHHHH.  I've never wanted my period to come so much in my life.... I'm also trying to not to worry about it - but it's hard not to!!!!!... I should be getting my period on Jan 2nd. (fingers crossed).

Do you still think that you O'd on day 18? If you for sure did then you should be okay...1 more day would've been safer but you should be in the clear. Are you doing temping too? If so you could post your chart so we can check it out!

@Running Elley: I just started temping this month (on CD 12) and had trouble getting the thermometer to work (it wouldn't start beeping, even though it was on) - and so I didn't take it right after I thought I o'd and haven't been very good about it since (as you will see!).

I thought I o'd on CD18 because of the thickness of CF.  It was heaviest at that point and coincided with a temp jump.  The next day, I really didn't have any CF (on CD19). That was really what I was basing it on.  My CF hasn't been as thick as it normally is (for the last two cycles) but I think that's because I've been taking a probiotic to help with a chronic yeast infection issue I've been dealing with (so I figured that's been changing the CF).

....uploading picture of my really crappy charting soon.

    Here's my crappy chart:

Note that the intercourse on CD15 was with a condom - so no worry about that one!For those with a 32-day cycle, what day do you typically ovulate? : wedding Photo

@oracle: It looks like you definitely O'd on day 18 so I really think that you'll be fine...I'd take your temp again starting tomorrow morning to see where it's at now though and what it does.

@Running Elley: is there something I would be looking for (ie: indicators of pregnancy based on temps)?   (I have NOT completely read TCOYF - can you tell?! (hangs head sheepishly)).

@oracle: LOL well usually if you're pregnant your temperature will rise again around implantation time...which would probably actually be about now or a little bit before now if you were. So if you were pregnant your temp could possibly give you a clue if it had gone up again.

@Running Elley: ah, interesting!  I will be temping like a fiend (or at least try!).  I completely forgot today, even though I was meaning too and think I figured out why I couldn't get the thermometer to work!   Thank you SO SO SO much for your help!!!  I appreciate it very much!

@Running Elley:  you have NO idea how relieved I was!!!  (also hilarious was the look on DH's face when I told him I had to update this post!! (I never really talk about WB to him - other than 'that website I was always on during our wedding planning - he thought it was crazy that other people knew what was going on with my cycle - haha... if only he knew!!!)

This is my first time charting my entire cycle - I thought my temp would drop, but it hasn't (it's still 98.2-ish)... all the charts I was looking at on TCOYF seem to drop when your cycle starts... any thoughts on that?

@oracle: Hahaha so now your DH knows that WB can be a little more detailed with our sharing lol. On the temp drop, this is actually the first month that I actually had a temp drop with AF and I've been charting for a really long time. It's perfectly normal for it to drop gradually during AF.
