Is it pimples or a rash?
Until my skin got used to waxing, and it took about 2 years of "regular" waxing (about once per month), I would have to use hydrocortisone cream on it for a few days post-wax, due to the itchy rash (small) it would cause.
If yours is pimples can you wash your face immediately after the wax? And if this isn't feasible, carry a small bottle of toner and some facepads in your purse and kind of run it over the area. It may not be due to the waxing/threading, but due to whatever they use on your skin before and/or after. I'd also speak to them about using something for sensitive/oily skin if they have it.
I don't know what threading is, but after waxing or plucking my eyebrows the same thing happens to me. I found out that if I wash my face afterwards and apply my face lotion after drying my face, it helps a ton.
more like pimples or what looks to be tiny little (color of my skin) bumps.. it may be true I dont really wash my face after I do it & I just reapply makeup.. probably not good.
do you ladies reapply makeup right after you wash your face or do you wait a few hours?
Yeah, after waxing you're not supposed to apply anything to the skin right away. Try not to touch the area, nor apply make-up or lotions. Try dabbing the area with a cotton pad, soaked with witch hazel. It's soothing and anti-bacterial. A life saver.
I have the same problem. The only thing that seems to work for me is right before they thread/wax remind them to always use baby powder on the area first!
Its an indian technique. I love it.

& it last about the same as waxing for me.
Oh that used to happen to me too when I got my eyebrows threaded but now I wash my face before I go, have them use baby powder and then wash my face afterwards.

weather I thread my eyebrows or get them waxed I ALWAYS break out in the forehead/eyebrow area. I HATE this & just about the time my forehead starts clearing up its time to go and clean up AGAIN!
anyone have this problem or any solutions?!
Plucking just doesnt look as nice on me!
