I am about four months from our big day. This week we got approved for an apartment. YAY!!! We still have a great big To do list for the wedding. We will be moving into the apartment in November. I want to get all the wedding stuff complete before we move. I am so excited about moving I’m starting to get destracted because I still need to plan for the wedding. My point is that it’s so much stuff going on I felt I needed to remove some destractions out of my life. So I deactivated my Facebook account. I almost felt guilty. But once it was deactivated I felt a weight lifted off my shoulders!!!

Well It depends on whether or not its something that seriously distracts you!
Facebook has the potential to waste your time and also can get you thinking way to deep into other peoples lives and their opinions whether it be about you or a hurricane.

I’m not sure it would help me that much but it it made you feel relieved when you did it it sounds like a good move!

I know I find myself wasting time on the site. Good luck with the planning, and I hope this will help you focus.

I personally don’t find FB distracting- if I’m procrastinating, I’ll use anything as an excuse, so deactivating FB would just make me procrastinate and waste time elsewhere, haha. And I have friends that live so far that I never see, I couldn’t cut contact with them. If it makes you feel better though, awesome!
