I have! However, FI never pointed it out to me when I do, lol. He knows that I prefer to leave it at home sometimes, especially when it comes to being active in sports.

I don’t, because mine won’t be here until February, but…I have a friend who carries around the box for her wedding set because she takes it off so often. Like when we were shopping the other day and she just randomly took it off and put it in the box. I didn’t ask why, but we weren’t doing anything that would make sense for her to take it off to me. We were just trying on shoes, lol.

@UKbee:  The fact that you felt so guilty you called, is probably making him feel way more loved and appreciated than remembering.  You remember to wear it every day, after all.

I have 2 engagement rings. Sounds a bit ridiculous, I know. But the original ring he proposed with is a plain gold band.(Working where I work, any rings get stuck on things, and I often have to work with food, so I cant wear it in the “food areas”) And then my engagemnet diamond ring, is a three stone white gold ring. So I actually dont wear my diamond ring at all during the working week, and just wear the plain band.:)

All the time! I once left for a business trip without it, Opps! Luckily, FI knows I’m just forgetful and not shady 🙂

Haha I had a very similar experience.  I realised on the train on the way in to work & called FH in tears and he gave an almost identical response.  I just don’t take it off now, ever 😛

I felt so badly because I did this and forgot to wear it to my office Christmas party this past December!  I NEVER forget to put it on before I walk out the door, but this was the one time that I did.  And it was even worse because our firm has several branches in other locations, and it was the first time I’d seen quite a few of these people in person since we had gotten engaged, so I was looking forward to showing it off.  Didn’t even notice I had forgotten it until someone looked at FI and I and said “Congratulations!” and asked to see the ring and I held up my hand with my empty finger!  I was mortified!!  Everyone kinda laughed about it then, but I just felt so silly and disappointed.

I’ve forgotten a couple times. Depends on how busy I am in the morning before work.

I feel naked without it, but I don’t feel guilty because it’s not like I ‘forgot’ on purpose.

I won’t feel bad about it but I feel my hand is too naked with it. Sometimes I take it off when I go swimming or running, I have to rush home and put it back on…. it just not the same without it

I think I’m too used to having it on left hand and my RHR on my right hand. Yesterday, I wear a stylish dress ring on my right hand…… it just looks so weird because it’s huge compare to my e-ring……… it just dun blend in…

I can’t wait til’ the day I can wear my wedding band, so I can wear whatever I want but still have a big blind on my hand haha

I did on the weekend.  We’d been away all week so I’d been wearing my stand-in, which I don’t take off (it’s not delicate like my e ring.)  I was also baking for FI’s birthday, so I hadn’t put my ring on in the morning.  We went to my parents’ for dinner to celebrate and I realized I didn’t have any rings on.  E ring and RHR.  Oops.

I forget a couple of times and normally realize on my way to work.  Depsite that I have only had the ring since October, I feel naked without it.  Weird how quickly we become attached to it!

Honey, don’t beat yourself up about it! Like the other bees said, it happens, and I’m sure your FI feels even more loved that you are so conscientious about it! I’m sure I’ll have spacebrain from time to time after SO proposes, and he’ll probably just laugh it off as another of my trademark klutz moments. Don’t stress, and just admire your sparkly even more next time you wear it!
