Sounds great! Thinking that you could use them, then sell or donate, will be worth your trouble right now. Kudos to you!
THat's awesome! I'd be pretty excited about something like that, too!
Wow you got an incredible bargain, wish I had known about this a few weeks ago for my engagment party, but I will save that link for the shower, thanks!
That is awesome! And I thought my 4/$1.00 Wal-mart forks were a good find (son used to throw away his food and fork when clearing his plate)!

I had been thinking I was going to have to have plastic forks for my wedding. Our venue is a nontraditional one, and we are basically bringing in everything we need for the wedding. The cost of renting silverware is ridiculous. I didn't think we could afford to buy anything but plastic.
However, last week I found stainless steel forks for $1.49 a dozen. I ordered 36 dozen (432 forks), and they came in today. They are pretty much what you'd get in a restaurant, other than a really high end one. They are cheap enough that I won't mind if a few get thrown out, but durable enough so I should be able to resell them after the wedding.
I am unreasonably happy about this.
