This is my first post! I’ve been trying to search through the forum for a similar question but couldn’t find one. I’m going back and forth about my bridesmaids dresses. I love long bmaid dresses, and think it would be the best option considering my venue is more formal. I want them to be a range of muted, neutral-color chiffons, however, my dress is pretty similar to that description! I’m wearing the Dauphine gown by Jcrew:
I looove it for its simplicity. But, there’s no train, no details, or anything. So I’m concerned that a long Bmaid dress would…I dunno… “outshine” me? (Bleh I don’t mean to sound that way but I don’t know what other word to use lol) Also, in person, the dress is not as white as the photo…it’s definitely ivory, which is even closer to the neutral palette.
My other options I’ve considered are: keep long Bmaid dress but choose a very dark color (black?) OR have short dresses in the range of neutrals. Or maybe I’m just having silly concerns
Side note: I’m so fortunate that my girls are awesome and are open to my visions, so their opinions are not leaning one way or another.
Thanks in advance to whoever gives input!
