I'm having trouble finding dresses I love for my bridesmaids. It's been tough to find long dresses in the color I wanted for less than $200. Our wedding is formal and classic (gothic church and groomsmen wearing tuxes with hand-tied black bow ties), and our colors are emerald green and pale blue. What do you ladies think of these? Would you be happy to wear either?

My bridesmaids tried the bottom one in the shorter version and LOVED it.  I think it's pretty cute.

I'm partial to the alfred sung because it has a little more shape to it.  I would be worried that the bari jay would emphasize the belly region, and with all of the extra fabric, it might not be as flattering on all body types.  My girls tried on the alfred sung in the shorter version, like the PP, and it looked really cute.

Thanks for the feedback! I feel like the AS will probably be more flattering, but I didn't know if maybe it was too bridesmaid-y or not as stylish or something. If your girls liked it, that makes me feel a bit better about that anyway.

As long as the dresses are actually flattering on more than one body type.. yeah I think I would be ok with either.

I think the Alfred Sung is gorgeous, and if I were one of your bridesmaids I would be thrilled to wear it! I feel like it could more easily be shortened into something I would actually wear again, and it looks as if it would be more flattering on a variety of body types. The other is beautiful also, but it doesn't strike me as quite as versatile or flattering.

Edit: I actually just sent this one to a friend of mine whose wedding I'm in. She's been looking for something formal and flowy to accomadate a lot of different girls, and this looks like a really good possibility!

Thanks guys, I appreciate your help! I'm going to go and take a look at swatches this weekend. Can you believe no store in Houston carries either style?
