Have you ever been to Liberty State Park (I think it’s in Jersey City)? I went to All Points West this year and OMG what an AWESOME place!! If it wasn’t too far away I’d totally be going there to take our picts. It’s gorgeous.

Also – if you like the NYC thing but want to stay out of the city, check out Fort Tryon Park – it’s where the Cloisters are. You get the feeling you’re in Europe. It’s one of my favorite places on the planet.

the central rail road at liberty state park is great.  There’s also an overlook park area in Weehawken just north of the lincoln tunnel as well as frank sinatra park in hoboken.

If you’re reception’s in Weehawken, there’s a small park area on the top of the cliff in either North Bergen or West New York (sorry, don’t remember the exact spot) that has awesome views of the NYC skyline. I see people taking pictures there all the time, and it wouldn’t be too far from your reception area!

There are great spots all along the promenade on Blvd East in West New York on top of the cliff.  I used to live there and the view of the NYC skyline is amazing.  I’ve also seen tons of wedding parties stop there for pics.
