Weddingbee boards

We hadn't really put much thought into the cake until this past week. Finally I got FI to go talk to the people at our local grocery store who makes wedding cakes. He got the price sheet, details, etc... I was hoping they'd be resonable but they weren't.

So I looked on Kijiji for "Wedding Cakes" and found a ton of people advertising.

I found 1 lady/company who is willing to make our cake for $300 which includes the cake, delivery, and set up! This price is without fondant which I was a bit nervous about until I saw one of her cakes without fondant. You'd never know! She makes it look SO smooth. I'm really excited to meet with her soon to go over details and do a tasting :-)

Now I need cake ideas! Our colors are pink and brown. Post pictures if you have any!!!

OH I should mention FI isn't working so he can run to the grocery store to talk to the cake ppl and stuff :-) It's nice having him off (except the money sucks) but he's been able to get a ton of stuff done that would have taken me a while because I can't really do too much at work.  

What a great idea! I think I'll do that!
