Rappig:  share his page on fb and get the word out for him that way maybe someone will see him and he’ll get his forever home! 🙂 is he at a no kill shelter by chance?

I agree with PP. I also wanted to give you props for rescuing him! He could have been dead if it wasn’t for you, especially with his advanced age. I have a 9-year old lab with the same patches of gray hair 😉 I have also taken in 3 dogs I found randomly on the streets and was able to track down their owners because, fortunately, they all had tags. It’s such a wonderful feeling, and you are wonderful for saving a life!

Rappig:  don’t be so hard on yourself. You did a wonderful thing just by catching him and taking him somewhere safe which is a lot more than most would do.

You have given him the best chance of either finding his original home (if lost) or finding a new home. Good work!

Rappig:  your dog is beautiful. Just for fun, here’s one of my little man. He’s gotten a little grayer since this one, but I had to share 🙂 Keeping my fingers crossed that the traffic-stopping dog finds a home!

Rappig:  Sounds good! Great job rescuing him! Our pocket pittie is an old lady now and I can’t imagine her being lost outside and scared to death. Do you know anyone that would be able to foster him after his evals? Maybe once he’s available you could also put the word out that he could use a foster as well as being adopted? It at least gets them out of the shelter and interacting with people and you never know, they may end up being a foster failure and keep him! 🙂 You definitely did a wonderful thing for him and at least he’s off the streets now and safe!

I love happy endings.  So very proud of you too.

My lover boy is 7 and starting to age handsomely.
