I think it's awesome and a cute touch! I would never wear chucks, but my Fiance would loooovvveee to wear them! It will be beautiful!

Thank you girls so much for the comments xo ! I know most brides wouldn't dare with the sneakers :)) , but the dress will be covering my feet so no one will really know I'm wearing them (except for my fiance & the bees, shhhhh ;)) So I'll be comfy & dancing away!
I love everything except the chucks.
I just can't combine chucks and a tiara in my head I think everything else is gorgeous and elegant.
You can get super cute flat/comfy shoes that aren't chucks.
But, if you love the chucks and your FI does too then it doesn't matter what I (or anyone else) thinks!

Not so much a fan of the shoe selection. I agree with KatNYC2011 - I just can't picture an elegant dress like that, a tiara, and then sneakers. But whatever floats your boat!
Thanks girls :) I know it's hard to picture it for some, but I guess since I've practically been wearing Chucks my entire life (with or without a nice outfit), I don't have much of a hard time :)) I know my mother almost fainted when I told her, and she's still trying to talk me out of it ;)) We'll see once I get my dress in the mail if it all synchs together nicely, there is still time to make adjustments :D ! But thank you for the nice comments & honesty! :* xo

@Gleamingbridexo: not a tiara fan, think its a little cheesy, but the rest of your look is nice. theres gonna be alot of dancing and posing so wearing chucks is a nice idea. not to mention comfortable.
Woo fellow chuck taylor bride! Did you know they have silver glitter covered ones? :) Those were my wedding shoes and I was super comfortable all freaking night!

One of the most beautiful dress I've seen. I love satin, clean lines, this is very elegant. And I like it with the tiara.
Just spotted the shoes....what about wedges? I think trainers might just take a little bit away from the dress being so beautiful :/...

I say go for the chuck taylors! Like you said no one is even going to see them probably, and it's so cute and sweet that they will mean something to you and your FI. I say rock em'. :)

love the dress, errr on the shoes (only because im a heels snob) and sorry but i have no love for any tiara but if its what you want then rock it!
The only thing with the chucks is they might actually be seen, since the dress you want is not very wide/fluffy at the bottom. Just something to think about!
I love your dress and I love how sweet you are wearing the same shoes with your fiance but Im not a fun of the tiara. I dont think it goes well with the old hollywood theme.
Thanks everyone for your lovely comments, they really mean a lot & they're really cheering me up! I found the dress on David's Bridal (love that store) and it's for the most resonable price I could ever ask for...*glares at the mountain of bills laying on my desk* IT REALLY IS! As a girl with a strict budget, it's one heck of a steal for a beautiful dress like this!
I'm really happy a lot of you think the chuck idea is fun & cute, I think so, too! And to all the girls who don't, thanks for your honest opinion :D ! I mean, here's the deal, there are 6 months left, and the only thing I ordered right now is my dress, tiara & garter - CAN'T WAIT TO GET IT, PICS UP SOON HOPEFULLY <3 So, there will be some time to mix & match, heck, I might change my mind about a truck load of things before we hit the alter :) And the tiara is only 30 bucks, and I can always return it if it doesn't work well together. Bottom line is, my fiance is wearing his favorite red chuck's (not doubt about it, even if I tried to talk him out of it, he's my stubborn little mule), so I just thought it was a fun idea to match together, it's special to us :)

And I love the chucks! I'm going to be wearing purple glitter Toms. I do have a pair of heels which I might wear for the ceremony, but I only got them because I got a free pair of shoes with my dress lol.

So, I FINALLY found my dream dress after countless hours of searching & switching. It has a kind of vintage-old hollywood type look to it, which I love, because I'm a sucker for vintage <3

Yes, yes, off-white low top Chuck Taylor's ;) Why? Well, first off, I start dying pretty soon in heels. But it's all really because when me & my fiance first started dating, we planned our ''future wedding'', tee hee. We promised each other we'd wear matching Chuck Taylor's, he'd wear his favorite red ones & I'll be wearing white ones to match my dress. We're a fun loving, not-so-traditional couple ;)) !
