So, I actually found it about a month ago, but never had any pictures. When my brother graduated high school, all of the important females in my family (save those who’ve passed on) were in town and we took the opportunity to go dress shopping. I’ve been in love with Eden bridals, and only 2 shops in town carry them. So, I made an appt. at the closest one and we went. It was me, my mother, grandmother, godmother, best friend, and great-aunt. Lo and behold, they stopped carrying Eden dresses. I had a great consultant, though, and she found THE dress. Mori Lee Julietta 3138. Everyone loved it, I loved it. I’m still saving up money, so I can’t order it right then, but I know that it’s the one I want and I will be getting it.
Skip to today. I still couldn’t get the Eden dresses out of my head. So, my will-be MOH and I went to the second store that carries them. Turns out this store has my dress IN WHITE and cheaper! So I grab that one and a couple other dresses to try on. Mainly ones I hadn’t had a chance to see myself in yet; a ballgown that didn’t look like a cupcake, a blush dress, a couple Eden dresses. We go through each of them, nothing’s really working. Finally, it’s down to 2 that I really like, the ballgown and the Mori Lee. I don’t want to take off the ML, but I’ve never worn a ballgown before and when will I ever get another chance? I felt like a cloud! After checking myself out, though, I knew that the ML was it. I LOVE this dress and I can’t wait to get it.
The sample was too big, so it fits a bit funny, but I’ve tried it on in the right size and it’s perfect.
The straps are supposed to be removable for ceremony to reception, but I think it looks MUCH better with them. We’ll be having them permanently attached.
