I am wearing the one shoulder strap for the ceremony and then I will remove it and wear the dress with this necklace for the ceremony. Do you think it goes with the dress?
The dress picture isnt very good since its the sample size and its too big. (not to mention I have been in self-imposed bridal boot camp!) Its Sottery and Midgley Gracie (I think)
These are my shoes, not I only need to figure out earrings.

If you like it, wear it! If you want to pull it off you can.
Personally, with such a detailed dress I would opt for simpler jewelry, but that’s just me. 🙂
If you do wear I would definitely remove the shoulder strap. It would look way too busy.

The necklace will definitely make a statement, but I think in a way that will work–it’s not bridal-y which will help transition your dress from ceremony to party quite nicely!
(I’m totally envious–at 5′ tall, there’s no way I could wear something like that and not look I’m six wearing Mommy’s jewelry 🙂

@Tunacupcakes: oh definately removing the strap. I liked that it balanced the heavyness of the bottom half of the dress. Earring will likely be diamond studs or something similar.

Ah ok. You are decided on the strap removal.
Stud earrings would be perfect.
Yeah, you sound like you know what you are doing. lol
The shoes are gorgeous by the way and I like how it creates bits and pieces of standout colour having dark shoes and then a dark necklace.

What a beautiful dress! I love Sottero & Midgely!!!
I think thats a great idea on removing the shoulder for the reception but personally I would choose a necklace thats a little more bridal. I can’t see clearly from the necklace picture but the flowers look black. If you like statement pieces, something like this but with purple crystals incorporated would look lovely with your shoes instead!

I love it – I think it will be bold and beautiful.
