ok - so our rehearsal dinner will be pretty casual - but I still wanted a really cute dress - well because I'm the bride and I can! lol.
so I am TOTALLY into the pin-up stuff since seeing someone's post either here or on offbeat bride, can't remember (think it was here) anyways - I found "unique-vintage.com" and LOVE that site!
I just wanted to share the dress I just ordered for my rehearsal dinner:
I can't WAIT for this! it's SO incredibly girly (which i'm not - haha) and i LOVE it!

So cute! I found a dress in my closet that was perfect! So I found a cute dress that I could wear on my honeymoon and spent the money on that, instead. (nordstrom rack worked out that way for me :) hehe)

Oh that is cute! But the shoes the model is wearing are all wrong! I love vintage stuff too, I just never have the nerve to wear it. I can't find a pic of my dress online but I do love it :)

Here is mine. It's from anthro. It is so flattering, has a nice full skirt that is definately twirlable, and also has pockets! I thought I'd go for something in white, but this dress is the shiz-nat.
I bought a knockoff version ofthe BCBG applique dress...it's not 100% accurate but pretty darn close and has the look I wanted :)

as for shoes, i have NO idea what i'm wearing yet...i have SUCH a problem with finding / wearing / buying shoes (i wear a size 11). so we shall see. but yup - i'm totally in love with that website and once my wedding is over and I have more money to spend on clothes, I'm going "shopping" on that site! :D not sure why - but I'm just TOTALLY into the vintage dresses right now (even though this will be the first one I own, lol).

Here is my dress. It's a Priscilla of Boston dress that I found when I was shopping with my bridesmaids. I ordered it in black! I'm thinking of getting these Kate Spade shoes to wear with it.

@noritake - I LOVE YOUR DRESS!!!!!!!!!! I'm normally not into grey - but OMG that dress is seriously FABULOUS! as are the shoes. :)
this dress is violet. with black lace louboutins and prob a big black necklace. ill be very fancified at a casual-ish dinner. oops.

Here it is! It looks a lot less 'revealing' on me as it's almost knee lenght and covers more on top..
At first I really wanted a dress from Ann Taylor, but it is out of stock (and it was too expensive anyone). Now I think I'll just keep my eyes open on ideeli. Every day they have awesome sales, the problem is that I can never control myself....I just got a gorgeous teal dress in the mail today, but it is for my friend's wedding and is too formal for my rehearsal.
