Crib price isn't bad, changing table seems pretty high! But still awesome, none the less. Hubs and I want to go model house stalking as well, cuz like you we are going to be moving in 5 or so years. Need to start getting ideas now so we can know exactly what we want then!
@MrsSl82be: It is, but the top comes off and it can be used as a dresser. Plus the furniture is made of solid wood, which is nice, I hate press-board with a passion (LOL) because at least with solid wood you can sand and re-stain if you need to!
Unlike some other cribs, this one also includes the toddler rail (most of the time you have to buy it separately).
This is awesome furniture! Like you said if you can transition the furniture later its well worth the investment.

Last night me and FH went to check out the "Parade of Showhomes" that just opened near our house (we aren't looking to buy - our house is just 1 year old - but it is fun to look and get ideas for our next house in 5+ years).
A lot of the show homes have a nursery set up in one of the rooms, and it is fun to get ideas (since we are hoping for a baby in the next year or so). In one of the homes was the coolest baby furniture! It was so modern and sleek. I spent most of last night trying to find it online and I did!
It is the Babyletto furniture (modo line)
Now to get pregnant so I can justify buying them (LOL). The price isn't too bad actually, $379 for the crib, and $439 for the change table!
