It’s gorgeous…during my wedding planning, I’ve been a sucker for items made with traditional vintage materials. It just makes the piece more unique and special.

Try looking around on etsy for something similar but in more of your price range. If you love it so much and you will regret not getting it, I say do it. This is the one time in your life where making an occassional extravagant purchase is ok! Hey, you can always resell it after you wear it.

It is a little on the pricey side, but gorgeous! If you can buy it without blowing your budget, then go for it. You’re the bride, you’re worth it!

@love108: I agree. It’s a beautiful headpiece but I wouldn’t say it’s worth $500. I would try making one, but that’s just me…

Yeah that is alot.

Try emailing the seller and share with her how you love it but can she give you a better price or give her your budget. You never know and in this economy she would probably be happy to..

It’s beautiful but very pricey i like siegeli‘s idea, try that and if not and you can afford it why not it is stunning. So many brides spend that kind of money on shoes that you cant see under the dress, at least everyone will be able to see this beauty!

If you search eetsy for “flapper headband” or “flapper headdress” there’s a lot of similar ones for less than $100.

If you find one that you like the style of, but it’s not quite right in terms of colour, or not enough lace, you can always message the seller, and ask if they’re willing to do a custom piece for you. Even if it’s a bit more expensive than their regular headbands, because it’s custom, it’d still be waay less than $500

Of course you are worth it 😉 why not get a less expensive one and add to it to make it a DIY project?
