I love the detail on the lace dress! The more I look at dresses, the more I am turning away from the strapless ones. I just am not a fan of the second. If you can try on the first, show us a pic! Good luck with your shopping!
The custom made is one of a kind! That dress rocks! Pronovias is lovely, but seriously I have seen similar styles to that. The first is so totally unique and I love the intricate detailing.

I think I'm biased because I can actually SEE you in gown two. I think the first one is beautiful, but since I can't see it on you and since gown two looks FABULOUS on you, I voted for two.
I am biased because I also have a Pronovias gown and I just LOVE them! I voted for #2 because I loved the look of the silk/satin material and most importantly, it looks amazing on you!!! Both are beautiful so you can't go wrong!!! Good luck!
It's so biasing because you look so good in the dress you are wearing. Here's the one thing I'll say (and you've probably heard it before from me). The lines down the front of the dress such as in the first one only serve to make the hips look wider most of the time. It's the rare person that can pull it off well. Having said that, most of the time those lines widen out into an upside-down V and this one is different in that it joins at the bottom.
Maybe this would have an effect on the optical illusion in this case? I'd have to see it on you to make the call.... It is, however, a totally gorgeous dress. I think I'd have a much harder decision to make if I could see you in both the dresses!
I worry about the hippiness on the first one - it looks like it could make you look wide so its really hard to say if its not on you. It is more romantic and old school looking, if that is what you like. You look fabulous in the second one!
Hmmm, this is tough bc I like them both! I usually love lace and a vintage feel but for some reason I think I like the second better, something straps on the first one aren't working for me...whichever one you end up with, you'll look beautiful!!
The first dress looks very much like the one I had originally chosen for our wedding before we decided to elope, so naturally I voted for the first one :-). I'm now selling my dress.

So, I've decided to go with the second one:) I know there were a lot more votes for the lace one, but I just went to my new sister-in-law's wedding and she had lace straps, and the top looked exactly the same. The rest of the dress, however, was all silk. So, I don't want to be a biter :) Did people vote for it because it looked "different" and "original?"
Three of my BM and sister(MOH) absolutely love the first lacey one too. But, for some reason, the second one is more my style anyway. When I tried it on, I didn't get the same feeling as I got with the second one. I think the material on the first one felt "cheap" to me...There was an overlay that to me, felt like a net...or like a tutu.

The first dress is STUNNING!!!!!!!!! IMO, lace is timeless. Though both dresses are gorgeous, I say go with the first one. :D
I like the 2nd one better - I'm def not the majority. While the first is beautiful and very unique, Doctorgirl has a point about the lines and honey you look ROCKIN' in the 2nd one!
They're both gorgeous, but I'm leaning towards the first one. You can't get a photo of yourself in that one, so we can compare, can you?
LOVE the first, lacy dress. Someone told me they particularly liked lace because it doesn't wrinkle throughout the night the way satin does, if you want a silly reason to distinguish one from the other. ;) But the first one is beautiful, romantic, and a little different looking, so I like it more. The second one looks great on you, though, so I doubt you could really make a wrong choice!

The first dress is custom made from a bridal gown boutique and the second is a Pronovias. Which sytle do you like better? Please disregard the fact that I'm wearing one haha
