I have read a lot of boards on here and a lot of women chose/will choose to use airbrush foundation for their wedding day BUT what about normal foundation. I want to know what the best foundation out there is to last a full day and not need to reaply.
This does not need to be wedding specific either. It can be for everyday wear or going out wear. I am just in the market for a new foundations.
I used to use Laura Mercier oil free and loved it. I tried MUFE High Def and was not amazed but it got the job done and now I am fresh out of foundation!

I really want to try the tarte amazonian clay foundation, but since I literally bought new foundation last month that won’t be happeneing. I use Elizabeth Arden flawless finish cream foundation and it really does what it name says. It can be heavy since its a cream so I usually use a wet brush for a more sheet effect.
ETA: The salon used Kevyn Aucoin on me for the wedding

I’ve been using Chanel’s Vitalumiere Aqua. It doesn’t come in many colors, but it feels amazing and wears really well. As a bonus, it photographs well too.

I use Everyday Minerals (though my MOH is sending me some info about another mineral makeup), and they’re using Motives for my wedding makeup at the salon.

I am obsessed with Hourglass Foundation, specifically their Liquid Powder. I wore it for my wedding (with their primer – which I use with all of my foundations) and my makeup was on for like 18 hours, including a quick shower. No need to touch up. I did get a little shiny after 8-10 hours, but that’s it. Make Up For Ever has great foundations too, and their shade range is amazing – I have their High Def foundation and their Mat Velvet+. The Mat Velvet+ bottle looks small but you only use a smallll amount, so it lasts forever. Both have photographed well for me. I don’t wear the HD as much in teh summer b/c it makes me shiny after only a few hours

I recently bought the MUFE Matte Velvet foundation, initially to wear for my engagement shoot because I read that matte foundations photograph better, and ended up loving it. I can still add a little dewiness with highlighter on my cheeks, but it makes my face look really smooth and consistent and matched my skin color really nicely.

I’m probably going to wear one of the MAC or MUFE Face and Body foundations. Both have a super natural (but buildable) finish and wear like iron on my dry-to-combo skin.
