Me too!!! I've been using the Acne Free products, which work better for me than even ProActive, surprisingly. The set I buy comes with a moisturizer with acne medication in it. :-) It's been the best thing I've ever done for my skin. I use Bare Minerals, too. It doesn't irritate my skin and it covers really great, but I know friends who aren't crazy about it. Go to a department store and get them to do your makeup and skin care...that's what my girls and I do...They know what they're doing and you can talk one on one with them about your specific needs, try the stuff on, and if you like it, come back and get it! Hope this helped.
Unfortunately I have acne and chronic dry skin. I use a really good moisturizer and bare minerals. I love it and it covers all the redness, scarring and acne. You really need to get a good moisturizer because dry skin actually can cause acne because bacteria can develop well on a dry cracked surface.
Definitely a good moisturizer and exfoliator is a must! When your skin thinks it's dry, it'll produce oil, mixed with dead skin cells and bacteria = acne. Plus hormonal changes, of course.
If you have acne I don't recommend Bare Minerals or mineral foundation - not because the pigment will clog your pores, but the minerals mattify/dry out your skin a lot and creates more oil and acne.
Oil-free liquid foundation is your best bet. I recommend obtaining a sample at clinique, and also some brands at sephora (makeup forever, smashbox).
My favorite foundation for personal use is by Kanebo Sensai - it's very watery and medium to full coverage.

My skin has recently changed (from oily/clear to dry/acne) due to going off the Pill, and it's time for a new foundation. Can anyone recommend a great foundation for dry skin with acne? Looking for more of a high quality department store product, not a drugstore brand. Thanks ladies!
