Ok, so I have seven beautiful bridesmaids two of them are my sisters (maid of honor and matron of honor) we are really close and I love them to death. Anyway, instead of doing a bigger bouquet I decided I wanted to make them one of those cute flower/ribbon belts to show that they are the MOH’s and also my sisters.
I thought this project was no big deal, an hour, tops. Well, I started this project four hours ago, my fingers hurt, my back hurts but im done! It is actually the FIRST DIY project i have finished completely (even though almost everything is DIY)- I feel like I just conquered something!
Anyway, thought I’d share! Pardon the poor quality and the ugly carpet 🙂

What kind of material did you use?
Do you have a template or instructional you could share?

Yes, here is where I found the instructions- scroll down to Jan 27th. I just used cotton and tulle and then ribbon for the belt…its actually really easy but I was trying to be a perfectionist…after a while I just kind of went at it and it went much faster and still looked just as good.
One good thing is that the “petals” dont need to be perfect so you just cut and cut pretty quickly.

oh and another hint, I used tulle with every petal I sewed on, it didnt take up any extra time but it filled in faster and looked better in my opinion.
oh, and dont line up the tulle and petal evenly, I put the tulle just a tidge higher every time.
