    Hello, September Bees!

I realized that four months from today (September 18th), I'll be a Mrs!  Makes me want to squeal with excitement!

I'm also a bit anxious.  We were engaged at the end of March, so at that time we had 5.5 months to plan.  Now we're at four months and I was wondering where all of you were, so I can guage my progress.

So, tell me - how's it coming?

-Booked cake baker, and gave her picture of what we want, and decided flavors and have cake toppers

-Booked Photographer and had Epics last week!

-Booked hair and makeup ladies and done trials

    -Booked DJ and ceremony muscians

-booked honeymoon flights and hotels (no activities yet)

-ordered bridesmaids dresses and they are in and the girls have them to be altered

You ladies are doing so well!  I'm not totally behind...but @kara, you impress me!

    We have:

    -Sent our Save the Dates

    -Launched our website

-Secured ceremony and reception site (we had to get permission to have ceremony on my parents' neighbor's lawn)

    -Booked our officiant

    -Worked with our cake lady

    -Talked to our florist

-Gone to rental stores to discuss tents, tables, chairs, linens, dance floor, etc

    -Made floor plan for venue

    -Booked a photographer

-Bought my dress and his suit

    -Reserved rooms for our guests

    -Booked honeymoon

    -Booked Day of Coordinator

We're having it at a private residence, so we're having to deal with transportation issues (there is no parking) and lots of little details that we wouldn't have if we were at a reception hall or hotel.  I'm anticipating lots of little things that need to happen but ...we're just not there yet.  Hopefully soon!

I should also mention that we're not having any attendants, so that takes some of the pressure off!

    Good luck, ladies!

-in the process of working on invitations

    -registered

    -fiance is (hopefully) researching DJ's

Still need to figuire out centerpieces and talk to a florist and find fiance a suit and get wedding bans and and and......

I'm getting married August 22. We were engaged the beginning of March so I'm working with about 5.5 months, too.

    So far we've:

    - Booked wedding location

    - Booked reception location

    - Sent out save the date e-mails (we're cheap :-P)

    - Talked to most of our bridal party (my fiance still has to confirm with two of his groomsmen)

    - Picked colors

    - Picked main flower (sunflowers) -- I think I'm going to try to DIY my flowers

    - Bought my wedding band and ordered his

    - Booked our honeymoon

    - Booked our musicians ("booked" meaning talked to our talented musician friends who will do it for us :-D)

    - Booked our photographer

    - Picked two of our wedding songs

    - Booked a back-up location (since we're getting married outdoors)

    - Talked to our officiant

    - Found a friend to coordinate our reception

I still need to find a dress (eep!) and I know there are countless other little details I need to work out, but we've gotten most of the big ones covered, so I'm feeling pretty good :-)
