Maybe something along the lines of "Please help us celebrate this (wonderful day/joyous occasion/etc.) by leaving us a few encouraging words!" Also, maybe you could have a bridesmaid or family member sign the guestbook before others arrive to give the guests an example to follow.
Giving the guests an example to follow is probably the best way to convey your message, and then just have something short and sweet nearby in case they need some extra help.
In the frame you can put: "Advice & wishes for the new Mr. and Mrs."
I wrote something like "Share your warm wishes and happy thoughts for the bride and groom"....or something, I can't remember exactly.

I would like to frame a note to put next to our guest book, which is a hardcover book of our engagement photos with blank space around the photos for messages, etc.
I am trying to come up with the language/wording for this framed note.
Any suggestions?
