Hi ladies! I'm new to the boards, but i have been a lurker for quite some time. I have learned a lot from reading other posts. I have a question and i thought this would be great place to ask.

AF was supposed to come on 1/17. Two days passed and i decided to take a pregnancy test. Hubby and i have been actively trying to TTC. I usually have a very regular period, never late maybe once or twice and i've never been on the pill. So i take the test (clearblue) and the result was a big beautiful PREGNANT. Hubby and i were really excited. The next morning i took another test and same results.

Now my big question is, on 1/21, i started feeling some light cramping and sure enough there was some bleeding. This bleeding is not like light bleeding. It feels like a regular period. My doc's appointment is not til wednesday. I'm feeling very nervous and very worried. Is this normal?

    Please Help!!!

I am not a profesional so all I can do is give you my opinion but I unfortunately do not think that is normal... But I also think it could be just a scary moment. Is there a health line you could call to get a better idea of what is going on ? I'll be praying for you dear ! Keep us updated!

I would go to the ER just to be safe. I know it is normal to have some light bleeding but if it feels like a full blown AF coming then I wouldn't risk anything.

I'm so sorry, but having suffered a miscarriage at 5 weeks, this sounds very similar.  I woke up and was bleeding bright red, like AF, it gradually got heavier.  I went to the doctor, got an ultrasound and they confirmed that I had lost the baby.  You should definitely go to the doctor. There have been a few ladies on the boards who have had bleeding and have not lost their LO, so there is hope.  Fingers crossed for you that everything will be fine.

Did you call your doc and tell themyou're bleeding? If you did they would probably want to see you right away.

@BabyLove:  Just wanted to say try not to jump to any conclusions. I had some bright red bleeding at about 7 weeks, and these are the things my Dr. told me to look out for (aka if I saw them - it was probably a MC)

1.) Bleeding that lasts for more than 2 hours

2.) If you pass any tissue.

The Dr. said that she has seen it go either way... Personally, I did not miscarry. I don't want to get your hopes up, but would recommend you see a Dr. or go to the ER within the next 48 hours. You don't need the stress of not knowing. Good luck sweetie.

@BabyLove:  That's pretty much what happened to me when I had a chemical pregnancy.  It was positive for 3 1/2 days, then I started a pretty normal AF. : (  I hope it's not!

Hi ladies! Thank you so much for the encouraging words and positive thoughts! I have not been able to go to the doctor. My doctors office is closed on weekends. I'll be going to see her tomorrow.

As for today, i had some spotting. No heavy bleeding. I'm praying for the best, even though things arent looking too good. I've been feeling pretty down today and barely wanted to get out of bed.

I really appreciate all ur responses and will keep you all posted after my docs visit.

    xoxo

@BabyLove:  Just wanted to send some prayers your way. I'm sorry this is happening, but it also sounds very similar to my checmical pregnancy as well. Hoping for the best for you!

@2PeasinaPod:  Thanks for the prayers hun.

@bride21:  Thank so much for your concern.

So i went to my doctor and unfortunately i had a miscarriage. The doc speculated i was about 4 weeks. I am feeling so terribly sad, but i'm leaving it in God's hands. I felt especially sad because when i told my husband he cried and rarely does he cry. My heart really hurts, but it'll be alright.

THANKS a million to everyone for your support.

    xoxo

@BabyLove- I am so sorry for your loss. *Hugs* to you and I will keep you in my thoughts. I have never experienced such a loss but I do know that unfortunately many of the bees have and they are such a support community so I hope this can be a safe place for you to heal.

@BabyLove:  I'm so sorry for your loss.  It did sound like what happened to me.  If it's any consolation to you, there are many of us on the bee who have been there and gone on to have healthy pregnancies.  This time was not meant to be, but things can and will work out for you in the future.  Take however much time you need to grieve in whichever way you need (for me lots of wine was required).  Feel free to PM if you want some support from someone who's been there.
