My MUA cancelled on me with 2 months notice. I was so upset (she was a good friend so that made it worse). But I found someone ok and it all worked out. Maybe yours can recommend other people to try? I ended up finding someone through my venue, so that's another option.

Good luck finding someone new!!You have plenty of time. I haven't even tackled that one yet, and my wedding is 2 weeks after yours.
Also, I'd highly suggest getting a pro photographer, remember, this is really the one thing you will keep for the rest of your life. And of course, I love our photographers. Their newest blog article shows a wedding they did for my friend: www.angelaandevan.com.

So, I got an e-mail from my MUA today that they are canceling on me because she is now going to be out of town. I am so sad and frustrated. This was one thing I was super excited about... she had a great portfolio and was giving me a good deal. I am so stressed out about finding a new MUA with comparable prices and services. Because we aren't having professional photos perse my make-up is really important to me. arrrghhhh so stressed. Anyone have any local reccommendations??? Any help appreciated...
