@Bebedreamr:  I absolutely had the same panic after putting a deopsit down on my dress.  It was my 1st dress shopping day and I wasn’t planning on buying anything – I definitely felt rushed into it, leading to regret.  I think that dress looks amazing on you! You don’t look fat, even a little bit.  The good news is, you have time to work out a bit on whatever areas you feel you need to – and spanx! I am totally on the “light work out and spanx” team.  I think, because there are SO many options out there, we all have a moment of “is this really it?!”

@Bebedreamr:  Girl, you look beautiful!  Don’t you worry.  I love your dress!  Second the idea of spanx!

It looks great on you! Didn’t you say it was a size too big? Once you get it altered down I’m sure it will fit you loads better. 🙂

I think if at all possible, you’ll have to get to a point where you don’t compare the two dresses. If it is any consolation, the one you bought is prettier, in my opinion.

I dont know how it does up but i think if you have it niped and tucked and a corset in the back to suck in all the right places ( or built in corset and buttons over the top) u will fall in love with that dress!x

@Bebedreamr:  yes, It should be in around Oct! The more I sat on it and thought about it, the better I felt.  I actually even showed my FI and he loves it- which is what calmed my anxiety the most.

It doesn’t look like it’s about spanx or losing weight, looks like it’s just because it’s a little big.  Once it’s altered it will look great and your waist will look much smaller 😉  A lot of dresses hold their shape on their own when they’re too big because of how much structure they have. Once they’re snug to your body shape, they look great!  One thing that helped me was looking at before & alfter alterations pictures.  There aren’t a ton of those, but I was able to find a few that helped ease my mind ;).  Great dress by the way!!
