How do I not worry about things I cannot control???? I’m a mess.
Didn’t want to check the weather until Thursday of next week because the weather changes here like crazy… the next 7 days we’re looking at MOSTLY SUNNY days – upper 60’s lower 70s and then on the 8th day we have a HIGH of 56 and a low of 38 and a 60% chance of rain 🙁 the 8th day is October 6th – our wedding day
I’m freaking out about a million other things 🙁 🙁 🙁 HELP? how do I not freak out

It is WAY too far out for them to know what the weather will be. Make sure you have a rain plan and a sun plan, and that’s literally all you can control. Cloudy skies can make for some amazing pictures! Go on your photographers website and look around to see all of the different conditions they’ve worked with. Even ask for some cloudy examples if you’re worried. If your hair doesn’t react well to moisture, make sure you have a style that you will use if it rains vs. if it doesn’t. All you can do is be prepared for anything, since it’s something that stressing will not fix! 🙁

My ideal weather would be: 65 – MOSTLY cloudy and no sun what so ever so that we don’t have “squinty” pictures – It just annoys me that I gave in and went to go check the weather and I know they cant predit it that far out but why the heck are they being a holes about it? SUNNY SUNNY PERFECT PERFECT then BAM oct 6th they assume its going to be raining all day……. UGH. Stupid weather people

The weather forecast will change several times between now and then. Try your hardest not to look at it, get a mani/pedi, and have a glass of wine. Regardless of the weather, your wedding will be beautiful 🙂

@raspberry bride: Thank you! I think I need a bottle of wine at this point lol

Yup, just start drinking now. Weather will change 3 times between now and then. Be good and drunk and you won’t care anymore.

As much as I understand you and check weather a lot before big events, the logical side of me knows there is no freaking wayit’s accurate yet! Try to tell yourself that and again make sure your backup plan is solid.
