@KIKI25: ok..calm down…breath. You are going to totally crack up at this post later.

do you have your venue yet?  How many bridesmaids do you have now and are you ok with just sticking with that number?  Go to dessy.com and check out their “smashing” color.  Thats my bridesmaids color and it is a muted eggplant, kind of.  Gorgeous in person though.  Itll take at least 3 months for those to get in.  Make some appointments and get your butt to a bridal store and try on some dresses.  After that you will be totally psyched and will get into planning mode.  Your dress is the most important bc it could take up to 8 months to get it in with regular delivery but you could do a rush.

Everything is going to work out and it will be fine.

Is there a bottle of wine nearby? If so, open it and pour yourself a glass 🙂 I second the deep eggplant purple shade for the bm dresses. If you have a david’s bridal nearby, they have a great, reasonably priced assortment. You can also take a peek of their styles online. As for BMs, I’d suggest not focusing to much on a number and more on the people who want to support you as a member of your wedding party…..it makes picking your group more fun! Start checking out and trying on dresses with a few of your closest people….the ones that’ll bring good vibes and keep you cool and collected. This is sooooo helpful. We’re always here for you!

Calm down and make yourself a list. You can make your own or you can become a member of theknot.com or weddingwire.com (its free and they may have things you haven’t thought of). A venue and dress should definately be first. A google search should give you a lot of listings to start with. Good luck!

You are perfectly fine, I am getting married in September and I have basically nothing done yet. I think you will be fine, freaking out will only make things worse =)
