You can wear a mattifying base, there are new facial moisturizers that do this, and I believe there are even primers now too.  Then use a sheer coverage foundation, if you don’t really have problem skin.

I am so glad to find someone else out there who doesn’t want to hide their freckles!!

Laura Mercier has a great sheer finish foundation that just evens out skin tone, not hide freckles!  🙂

I have freckles too, and they really come out in the summer.  I’ve been using Neutrogena powered foundation, the one that the brush is connected and you shake it out.  It’s really light, but helps take away the shine.  I can’t remember what it’s called though… sorry 🙁

I just had a makeup trial and your post made me look back at my pictures to check on my freckles.  I wore Make Up Forever foundation and I can still see my freckles through it.  You can find the foundation at Sephora.

I just bought the Laura Mercier HD foundation at Sephora. It smooths everything out without hiding my freckles.

Love it. 🙂

I wore Clinique Almost Makeup Foundation and my freckles were still able to make an appearance.  Although I’ve heard many good things about the Laura Mercier mentioned above and am thinking I’m going to give it a try.
