Pink Orchid Weddings is a start up "Day of Coordination" business, headed by two friends who both LOVE weddings and had great experiences planning their own big days over the past year. We would love to help a Boston area bride coordinate her wedding this summer for free to build our portfolio. We have gathered a great repertoire of knowledge and would like to use our organizational skills and knack for details to help other brides!
Are you getting married in the Boston area on August 9, 2008 or September 20, 2008 and haven't hired a DOC yet? We will coordinate your wedding day for free with two on-site coordinators! If you're interested, please e-mail pinkorchidweddings@gmail.com with your name, wedding date and time, ceremony and reception venues, number of guests, and a list of vendors you have hired. Tell us what your vision is for your wedding, and why we should pick you! We will be taking submissions until July 16th 7PM EST, and will pick the winner on July 17th, so we can start working with you right away! All other entries will receive 10% off our services for your event! Just e-mail us for more information, and we'd be happy to meet with you in person to see if we'll be a good fit for you! Thank you for your entries! Our lucky winner is Sarah, who is getting married in Newburyport, MA on 9/20. She plans to evoke a louche Victorian themed wedding with bright yellow pedicabs, DIY photobooth w/goofy props, and a family-style table setup! It should be a fun and unique wedding!
