OK, when am I going to learn to make the pictures small enough?
You look gorgeous! I love the way the pink shows up in your cheeks in photo 1.
Fontgoddess: You look wonderful! The artist did a great job keeping the color pallete simply and complimentary to your natural beauty. :)
I love your trial. Your eyes look great, well defined but still natural. You look gorgeous! :)
Thanks, bees! The only thing I didn't like was the mascara she used. It was kind of clumpy and it took forever to remove it! So I think I will use my own mascara on the day. It's smudge and flake proof, but washes off easily, and makes my lashes look super long without using the eyelash curler.
Otherwise, I loved the colours she chose for me. I bought the lipliner and lipstick, so I'll be able to touch it up on the day. I just noticed I should have touched it up before I took the photos! They were taken a few hours after the make-up was applied.
Heck, if my make-up looks half that good after a few hours, I'll be estatic! I tend to rub and touch my face a lot. Would you be so kind as to tell us what color the lipstick is?
The lipstick is Mac Lustre Viva Glam V, and the lipliner is Naked Rose Cremestick Pearl Liner.
I love that your make-up looks natural. I hate it when brides look 'over-done'. I love your pink cheeks.
You look fantastic! May I suggest fake lashes? You can avoid the clumping problem and they make everyone's eyes pop. If the full lash is to much for you, try the small sectioned ones (mac sells them).
You look beautiful! It looks so natural and simple...and I love the lip color.
Love it! Your eyes just POP! I have a question: when you went to the trial, did you tell them the trial is for a wedding?
I remember Miss Swan's post awhile back about not being able to get a free trial because she mentioned the word "wedding."
I want to go to MAC and get a trial now, but I don't want to get turned away!
She knew it was for a wedding ... but I got the free trial because I registered at the Bay and when you do that, you get a free make-over at the make-up counter of your choice. I chose the Mac counter because the girl who is doing my make-up actually works there. :-)
I love MAC makeup but I just wanted to say you are GORGEUS!!!!! I love your hair and your eyes are amazing! Your FI is a lucky man!
(blushing) Wow, this board is great for my self-esteem! Thanks again, bees!
I normally use L'Oreal Double Extend. It's great! First you apply this conditioner/thickener, then you brush on the mascara after that. It is absolutely smudge-proof, yet easy to remove. I'm definitely going to use it on the wedding day. The Mac stuff she used for the trial was so hard to get off - I tried everything I had, and still had clumps of it clinging to the lashes. Plus I didn't think it looked as good as the L'Oreal.

I don't usually wear make-up, just because I'm lazy. I got a free make-up consultation when I registered at the Bay, and conveniently, the make-up artist I have booked works at the Mac counter there! So I got a free trial done.
What do you think? I'm getting married in the morning and having an afternoon reception, so I didn't want to look too dramatic.
Both pictures are taken outside, one with flash, one without.
