sparkpeople.com works well but I am on WW now (4 weeks in) and I much prefer it. A lot of people have had success on spark tho
I'm on Sparkpeople. I'm mostly trying to maintain now but I wouldn't mind losing 2-5 pounds. I think their recommended meal plans are a little flawed/bizarre, but they have a really good database and you can always enter items that aren't in the database, too, if you are up for it. I like the "food groupings" and "favorites" and "recipes" features and I think the interface is intuitive and attractive.
I don't use all the SP features...mostly I just track my food and fitness :-)
whoa you ladies are fast, thanks so much. Any of these have an app too for the iphone?
I loved weight watchers but I cut out everything except my internet bill :(
I use myfitnesspal.com I really lit it because they have an app for smart phones/ iPod touch it is so easy.
@DesireeAnne: I didn't know you did that one too :)
@Nola: I've had my account for awhile now, but then his mom got us on WW. I'm not renewing our subscription when it runs out though. I think my username is SassyTart15, but I forget. Hahah. I'll look into it.
caloriecount from about.com. It analyses your nutrients and stuff. It's a lot more streamlined to me than spark.
SP does have an iPod/iPhone app--I use it on my iPod touch and it works pretty well! I think all the sites are probably great and it's up to personal preference which interface you prefer.
I love Livestrong.com! It is free for the basic package. You can track calories, fitness, and even put in your weight goals and it tells you how many calories you can eat and gives you more if you work out. You can also download it on our smart phone, but it costs like $2.
@Monkeyface: LoseIt.com! It started out as an app for the iPhone and now it has an awesome website/community around it. They have a little section where you can add friends and they can comment and post about your activities--very similar to facebook. It's great for motivation!
i think fatsecret has an iphone app....a friend of mine that I met on the atkins site uses it i believe.
YAY MyFitnessPal people! What are you all's usernames? I'm orange_avocado on there, feel free to friend me!
http://www.myfitnesspal.com/ changed my life! I'm not even joking. I lost 18 pounds in 5 weeks before my wedding from tracking my calories. They have literally any food you can think of and if not you can input your own foods :)
livestrong.com. You enter the specific foods you eat and it tells you how many calories it was. You enter your stats (weight, height, gender, etc) and when you work out and it calculates it all togther.
I use LoseIt.com's iPhone App. I think i want to try myfitnesspal though since a lot of people like that one too.
wow, I just signed up for my fitness pal, and I already have a love/hate relationship with it. I eat healthy things, I just eat TOO MUCH of it.... :(
@Taylor4: i second loseit. I have it as an app and did great when I actually used it. i didn't know they had a full website now. I might have to come back to it.
I'm a myfitnesspal.com fan as well. 3lbs down in 2 weeks, and that's just watching my food, I don't start my exercise plan until next week. The app on my itouch is fabulous, too!
Myfitnesspal. Love it! Even when I get off track I still make sure to log in. My username is NanoReefDiver
I used to do Weight Watchers, but I now use loseit.com. It has many similar features that the Weight Watchers website has, and it's free.
I use shape.com. I also track my exercise on there.. but the stupid virtual trainer is almost always down... gr..

I used to do weight watchers and I loved it. I loved that could see my points and the recipes and track everything online. I cancelled my membership to save money and now i'm wondering if anyone uses a free food tracker or something similar online that I could look into?
